State Advocate Network

Fire Corps has created a State Advocate Network as a resource to assist local fire/EMS departments who are establishing or implementing a Fire Corps program. State Advocates and Regional Division Representatives serve as the point of contact to departments and Fire Corps programs within their assigned geographic areas. These Advocates assist the Fire Corps national office in identifying state and division stakeholders, creating program awareness, answering questions and information requests, and reporting on local Fire Corps programs.

States can have more than one Advocate. Advocates attend a special training session to prepare them for their responsibilities. They also receive the Advocate Network Newsletter, a monthly publication Fire Corps created to share news and information with the growing number of Advocates.
