Link to these PSAs from your department's web site or contact your local radio or television and cable stations to air the PSAs. Unlike advertisements, many local radio and television stations and cable networks will donate the air time for showing PSAs, reducing or eliminating the cost to your department. You can use the PSAs as is or you can customize them to include your department’s name and contact information.

  • Video Public Service Announcements (PSAs)
    Fire Corps has developed two 30-second video PSAs that you can use to promote your local Fire Corps program. Use these PSAs to target potential citizen advocates within your community and garner support for your Fire Corps program through your local television and cable stations. Unlike advertisements, many local stations and cable networks will donate the air time for showing PSAs, reducing or eliminating the cost to your department. You can use the PSAs as is or you can customize them to include your department’s name and contact information. Some local stations may be willing to donate the time it takes to do this, or you can contact Nicole Kopec, Production Executive for Triptych Creative Group, at 972-309-4354 or Nicole.Kopec@TriptychCreative.com to customize the PSA for a nominal fee.

    Need Fire Corps brochures for your organization, department, or group event? Now you can order them online through the U.S. Fire Administration's online catalog. This free three-panel brochure explains the Fire Corps program and outlines how citizens can help their local fire/EMS department by fulfilling non-operational roles. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. For quantities of over 100 brochures, call the USFA Publication Center at 800-561-3356 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST/EDT. View a PDF of the brochure.
  • Citizen Brochure (Spanish) - Fire Corps has released a Spanish-language version of the Citizen Brochure. This brochure explains the Fire Corps program and outlines how community members can help their local fire/EMS departments by fulfilling non-emergency roles.
